Urban administration and development department of Chhattisgarh government has announced that the municipal corporations, municipal councils and other civic bodies to receive property tax from the citizens till April 15. The department has also asked the civic bodies to ensure physical distancing during the tax collection keeping in mind the recent surge in Covid cases in the state. Meanwhile, Raipur Municipal Corporation commissioner Mayank Chaturvedi asked all the zone commissioners of ten zones, assistant revenue officers, revenue inspectors, assistant revenue inspectors and other staffers to comply with the urban administration departments order with focus on the collection of tax from big debtors.
