Watch A Film For Rs 99 At The City's Multiplexes

By Qamar ZJ Shut for seven months, multiplexes across the city will open this week in Bangalore with all the safety precautions mandated by the central government. There are offers to win back the theatre-going audience as well. All tickets will now be priced at Rs 99 at most single screens and multiplexes on week days. On weekends, it will be Rs 150 on weekends and Rs 99 for the morning shows at Gopalan Cinemas. Cinepolis is charging Rs 110 while Fun Cinemas is offering them for Rs 90. Some single screens like Veerabhadreshwara theatre are selling regional movie tickets for Rs 60 (Balcony) and Rs 50 (second class). PVR is selling gold class tickets for Rs 199. These are almost a third of what they were pre-COVID, when tickets were priced between Rs 250 and Rs 300 on weekends and Rs 200 on week days. This might work against Kannada cinema as the ticket prices which were cheaper due to tax breaks earlier will now cost the same for non-Kannada films as the entry fee of Rs 99 is now common to both at the multiplexes. There are more offers. Theatre chains such as PVR Cinemas have released videos on social media to publicise their safety measures, including glass safety shields at box offices, Aarogya Setu app status checks, electrostatic spray guns to disinfect the premises, door handles coated with antimicrobial films, and UV cabinets to disinfect packaged food. All other multiplexes are expected to emulate these, if they are not implementing them already. Book My Show, the e...

THE 10 BEST Bengaluru Movie Theatres (Updated 2023)

We went recently to this place to watc h a movie.Intially itself there is very good parking system properly marked and identified.CINIPOLIES are new and in excellent condition.Main thing is leg space between rows is good and hence easy movements.Audio is also good.Food courts are good though prices are expensive. Please watch your steps floors outside are extremely smooth.Location is good and near to most places.Metro cas and carry is close to it.New movie watching experiance in Bangalore Ah has it been a long while since I even remember going to a single screen in the erstwhile cinema capital - majestic! But when an opportunity came for Baahubali, why not! Sure, seating, sound, picture, facilities aren't the best and comparing it with modern muxes is like apple to orange, but with such cheap prices and no frills, it's not bad. Brought back some memories... They have a decent movie hall, and mcd and tgif downstairs. Apart from that the ground floor has a few food stalls out of which this place called jack and something..umm not sure, the guy with kathi rolls, well he was pretty good. Rolls were tasty. Movie hall doesnt allow this food upstairs. So, ya, not a fan, when the only thing to do here is movie and food. The food at the movies was bad, so nobody was interested to eat there anyway. Parking is complex but it wasnt required as there were barely any cars.
