Radisson resort pondicherry bay

A much awaited trip..we were heading out after an year as a family because of our hectic life. We went as a family of 4(1 child).Ambience, rooms, food and Spa were so good. We reached the resort at 4pm. The verandah in the room had a pungent smell and hence we asked for a change of room as soon as we checked in. The front desk people said they will arrange an alternate room asap which took nearly 3 golden hours..The room which they provided was a down graded room( we didn't complain) was very slippery, hence used a cloth n wiped the floor. The white cloth had turned to black, just imagine the dirt on the floor! We asked for an extra bed, it took nearly 2 hrs to give us. Next day we asked for room cleaning which never happened inspite of multiple reminders. No toiletries, water was provided. After multiple reminders it was given at the end of day which was useless. I always take a toiletry set with me. Front desk people and house keeping was horrible and so very rude. They had an attitude. May be other radisson resorts might be good. Our bad luck we ended up In such bad hands. None of the staffs apologized for their negligence. We paid more than 45 k for two nights and 3 days. We have stayed in many resorts never once we have faced such issues..we were terribly disappointed with their service even after paying huge amount.
