New Delhi: Amid 'Adipurush' starring Prabhas and Kriti Sanon gearing up for release, there were reports of another film based on Ramayana to be directed by Nitesh Tiwari. There was buzz that Alia Bhatt has been confirmed to play Sita opposite real-life husband Ranbir Kapoor, who will be seen as Lord Ram. There were also reports of KGF actor Yash being approached for the role of Ravana and the actor rejecting it. However, there is no official confirmation of it. According to India Today, while Yash was offered the role, the actor is reportedly not keen on playing a negative character. “Yash is very mindful of what his fans want and, right now, they definitely will not accept him in a negative role. He has always believed in his fans and gone by their sentiments so he will not be taking up this role," India Today quoted its source as saying. Yash's team has denied any such reports. Kangana Ranaut took an indirect jibe at rumours doing the rounds that Ranbir Kapoor will be seen as Lord Ram in the new Ramayan film. For the unversed, earlier this week, it was claimed that Ranbir has been roped in to lead Nitish Tiwari’s Ramayan. There are also claims that Alia Bhatt has been roped in to play Sita. While Nitish is yet to react to these claims, Kangana indireclty reacted to reports and slammed the alleged casting. “Recently I am hearing news about another coming up Bolly Ramayana….
