The famous poem is also available there. Im posting the photo. The surrounding area is a bit congested and drivimg a vehicle is a bit difficult. Very well maintained but still there are many things which can be done here. Do visit here if you are in Kashi. I thought i can see so many things there but, there was nothing as i expected but,you can feel huge happiness and peace i love this place and would suggest to that person who wants to get a peaceful place near Assi Ghat and Ill recommend to visit there.And in my view there should have been a museum related the great queen of Jhanshi (काशी पुत्री). Situated near Assi Ghat this historic compound is the birth place of Rani Laxmi-Bai (The famous freedom fighter & great warrior). She was born in 1835. This memorable spot has been renovated lately and now there is a golden statue of the Rani and the boundary walls narrates the major events from the life time of the Queen. Now it is well maintained. My guide took me here when he found out I liked photography. Im glad he did as I wouldnt have found it on my own, despite the place only being a few minutes walk from Assi Ghat.The courtyard features a beautiful statue of Rani Laxmi Bai. If you visit, do take time to read the plaque below the statue, it tells her story up until her death in 185...
