realme Pad's octa-core Helio G80 processor reaches clock speeds of up to 2.0GHz. The CPU outperforms the previous generation by 35%, and the Mali G52 950MHz GPU outperforms its predecessor by 20%. The result is brilliant image quality and a more stable frame rate for an exceptional gaming experience.* Reading Mode simulates the texture of a book's pages. Dark Mode keeps your eyes comfortable at night. Night Mode protects your eyes by reducing brightness to 2 nits when your lights are turned off. And Sunlight Mode ensures you can see your screen clearly outdoors. To top it off, there's a Eye Comfort Mode to reduce eye strain. Because realme takes healthy childhood development seriously, we've integrated the Google Kids Space right into the system, providing a series of applications, videos, and books suitable for children. Kids Space's interface is colorful, cute, and easy to use, and parents can set a screen usage limit and select which applications their children can use. Instead of typing a password, you can use your realme Band/Watch to unlock realme Pad instantly. Nearby Share allows your phone and tablet to share the files and images immediately, and Open-up Auto Connection connects your earphones to the Pad automatically when they're close by. Plus, cast screen features can cast content from your Pad to your TV, like magically enlarging your Pad! Notes: 1. The realme pad weighs 440g and has a thickness of 6.9mm. These specs are based on data from realme labs. Results...

Realme Pad review

Introduction It was only natural for Realme to launch a tablet. It may have all started with smartphones, but Realme quickly harnessed its popularity and released a number of headphones, watches, TVs, vacuum cleaners, power banks, even a laptop. And that's why it was all but surprising to hear about the Realme Pad. Just like Realme's smartphones, its first tablet is all about getting the most bang for the buck. And the Realme Pad does look incredibly promising - the Pad has a sleek aluminum unibody housing a 10.4-inch display, four Dolby Atmos speakers and a large 7,100 mAh. The slate works with Android 11 with a reworked realme UI for Pad. The Realme Pad is a cheap tablet at INR13,999 (about $190/€160), and that's why some cost-cutting choices had to be made - like the Helio G80 chipset with 3GB RAM and 32GB base storage, as well as the basic 8MP snappers on both ends. Yet, powerhouse or not, it is a robust multimedia device with a large enough display, a great speaker setup, dual-SIM LTE capabilities, a 3.5mm jack, a microSD slot, fast 18W charging for the adequate battery, and a clutter-free interface, of course. Let's look though its specs now. Realme Pad specs at a glance: • Body: 246.1x155.9x6.9mm, 440g; Glass front, aluminum frame, aluminum back. • Display: 10.40" IPS LCD, 360 nits (typ), 1200x2000px resolution, 15:9 aspect ratio, 224ppi. • Chipset: Mediatek MT6769V/CU Helio G80 (12 nm): Octa-core (2x2.0 GHz Cortex-A75 & 6x1.8 GHz Cortex-A55); Mali-G52 MC2. • Memory...

Hands on: Realme Pad review

The Realme Pad is a welcome addition to the budget tablet market, as it’s an ideal choice for online classes and basic entertainment purposes. It comes with a powerful quad-speaker setup, a sleek design, and offers good battery life. However, it misses out on a powerful processor and fast charging. Even with these letdowns, the Realme Pad is a worthy budget tablet. The Realme Pad isn’t a rival to Apple's iPad lineup, as it’s a budget slate with a low cost and middling specs, but it is a very well-built budget Android tablet in its own right - and its very existence could mean interesting things for the low-end slate market, which traditionally hasn’t been as competitive as the affordable phone segment. • Realme Pad at Amazon for £234.25 It seems that the Realme Pad is aimed at students attending online classes or those who prefer watching movies and shows on a screen bigger than a mobile’s, as its display is arguably its best spec - the screen is 10.4 inches across and has a 2K resolution, which means there’s lots of detail in images. In terms of design, this is a sleek and stylish slate, making it easy to carry around - it seems like Realme took notes from Apple’s recent redesign of its iPad mini. It’s fairly thin, so it can easily slip into your backpack, though we’d recommend picking up a case to protect its frail form. Oh, uh… a case? That might be a problem. Realme doesn’t sell any accessories right now, and as it’s the company’s first tablet, there aren’t exactly man...

Realme UI 3.0 (Android 12) update roll out tracker [Cont. updated]

New updates are being added at the bottom of this story……. Original story (published on February 24, 2021) follows: Realme has been doing a decent job at getting the Android 11 update to some of its devices, albeit in beta form. The stable update has only been released for the Although recent developments indicated that the company will be rolling out Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11 for the That said, Android 11 isn’t the only new kid on the block anymore since Google recently Android 12 is expected to bring a bunch of new features, some of which are already present in the Developer Preview, however, we’ll have to wait a few months before Google unveils all of it. Like last year, we expect Realme to be one of the first OEMs to offer the Android 12 update with its Realme UI 3.0 skin for its flagship smartphone for 2021. And the company will later push the update to other models that came with Android 10 or later pre-installed as it tends to release 2 major OS updates to most devices from its portfolio excluding some budget-friendly options. Since Realme does not have a clear-cut policy for software updates, it’s hard to say which devices will get the upcoming Android 12 update. Although taking into account past trends, we’ve come up with a list of phones from Realme that may be eligible for the Realme UI 3.0 update based on Android 12. Check it out below: – Realme X50 Pro/Player Edition – Realme X50 – Realme X7 – Realme X7 Pro – Realme X3 – Realme X3 SuperZoom – Realm...
