Urja Saksharta Abhiyan-Usha: To save the country and the world from global warming, climate imbalance (frequent changes in climate) and wastage of electricity, a unique initiative to make people aware in the form of Energy Literacy Campaign (Usha) of Madhya Pradesh’s new and Department of Renewable Energy.

The Poshan Abhiyaan was launched in March 2018 by the Prime Minister as the Indian government’s flagship programme to improve nutritional outcomes for children, pregnant women and lactating mothers aiming for Holistic Nutrition. Today in 2021, India is not just fighting COVID-19 outbreak but is also battling existing undernutrition in the country.

About Poshan Abhiyan: Launched in 2018 with the objective of improving the nutritional status of Children under 6 years, Adolescent Girls, Pregnant Women, and Lactating Mothers through a time-bound approach. Implemented as a Centrally Sponsored Scheme by States/UTs. Addresses malnutrition issues nationwide through various components such as ICT.

Government is implementing POSHAN Abhiyaan, earlier known as National Nutrition Mission, since 18th December 2017 to address the problem of malnutrition in the country.The Abhiyaan aims to reduce malnutrition in the country in a phased manner, through a life cycle approach, by adopting a synergised and result oriented approach.
