The train would be the eighth Vande Bharat Express introduced by Indian Railways and the first to connect the two Telugu-speaking states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh over a 700-kilometer span. The train will run six days a week except for Sundays. The train will stop at four railway stations – Warangal, Khammam, Vijayawada Junction, and Rajahmundry for 1 minute. At Vijayawada it will halt for 5 minutes. The train will ply between Secunderabad and Vishakhapatnam which are the points of origin and destination. Tickets can be booked online on the passenger reservation system from January 15 onwards. The ticket price for the journey is not known yet. However, the other Vande Bharat connecting Mysuru and Chennai via Bengaluru costs Rs 1200 (for Chennai-Mysuru AC Chair Car) and Rs 2295 (for Chennai to Mysuru Executive Chair car). In the return direction the cost of travelling from Mysuru to Chennai is Rs 1365 in Chair Car and Rs 2485 in Executive Chair Car. The white and blue semi-high speed train will cover a distance of 700 kms between Secunderabad and Visakhapatnamin about 8-9 hours. The Vande Bharat express trains can hit a speed of as much as 160 km/hour in a matter of seconds. All coaches of the Vande Bharat have automatic doors, GPS system and WiFi.
