Meghna Malik might have had a cameo in Shah Rukh Khan and Rani Mukerji starrer Chalte Chalte, but the film will always hold a special place in her heart because it was the beginning of her acting career when she got the role. Meghna Malik on 20 years of Chalte Chalte “It had been just a year-and-a-half my life as an actor had started in Mumbai. It’s fascinating when you’re an outsider and you transition from theatre into films. Chalte Chalte was my second film, and then it had Shah Rukh Khan. During that time, all the girls were crazy about his romantic charisma,” recounts Malik as the film clocks 20 years of his release. Expressing gratitude, the actor considers herself lucky to have got the chance to share screen space with SRK. “I was quite amazed by Mr. Khan’s humility and gentleness he had. I was fresh out of the theatre circle, and I could see him rehearsing like a theatre actor while practising his scenes with me. He never made us feel like we were around a superstar. It was such an amazing and comforting experience,” says the actor, adding that, she instantly said yes to the film “because it had Shah Rukh Khan. He was such a sensation in our college. Mumbai: Superstar Shah Rukh Khan's blockbuster spy movie Pathaan will be released in 3000 plus screens across Russia and Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). The movie, which hit Indian theatres on January 25, is directed by Siddharth Anand and also stars John Abraham and Deepika Padukone. It has earned over Rs 1,000 crore at the global box office. "YRF's historic blockbuster Pathaan creates another record - gets widest release for an Indian film in dubbed version across Russia and CIS! It will be released on July 13 in this region across 3000+ screens," the press note read. CIS countries include Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. The film follows the titular spy (Shah Rukh) who comes out of exile to stop terrorist group Outfit X from launching a debilitating attack on India. It is the fourth film in producer Aditya Chopra's spy universe, following Salman Khan's Ek Tha Tiger and Tiger Zinda Hai and War, featuring Hrithik Roshan. Meanwhile, Khan, who was last seen in blockbuster 'Pathaan', will be next seen in the upcoming action thriller film 'Jawan' which is all set to hit the theatres on September 7. Helmed by Atlee, the film also stars South actors Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles. As the anticipation around 'Jawan' builds, a fan asked Khan about the film's trailer.
