Powerful Sanaischara Stotram (by King Dasaratha) – Shriguru Maharishi

Hari Om Shani Dev (Lord Saturn) moves into the Rohini star constellation (nakshatra) once in every 30 years. This is one of the most dreaded transits of the kings and their kingdoms. Vedic scriptures say “Kings will die and kingdoms will fall when Shani Dev enters Rohini”. Last time when Shanidev entered Rohini in May 2001, the entire Royal family of Nepal was wiped out in June 2001. It was followed by the death of a minister and Raja of Gwalior Sri Madhav Rao Scindia in September 2001 in a plane crash. Then came the 9/11 strike by Osama Bin Laden. It is said that during the reign of King Dasaratha when Shani Dev was about to enter Rohini nakshatra, King Dasaratha worshipped Shani Dev. Pleased with the King’s prayers, Saturn did not enter Rohini during the reign of King Dasaratha. Hence the Dasaratha Shani Stotras are considered an excellent remedy for almost every Saturn related trouble. One of the stotras (verses) of the Great Shani Dev Prayer by King Dasaratha makes reference to Saturn as embodiment of the Vedas, Lord of Time and Creator-Preserver-Destroyer: Sanaischara Stotram (Composed by King Dasaratha, Translated by P.R.Ramachander) Asya Sri Sanaischara Kavacham maha manthrasya Kasyap Rishi , anushtup Chanda , Sanaischaro devathaa For the great armour of Sani , the sage is Kashyapa , the meter is anushtup and the god addressed is Sanaischara.
