Mumbai: The Waliv Police in Maharashtra on Wednesday said that TV actor Tunisha Sharma's death case accused Sheezan Khan's "secret girlfriend" also deleted her conversations with him. The police said that they seized the mobile phone of Sheezan's "secret girlfriend" after recording her statement to retrieve the deleted chats. Notably, Sheezan too had deleted his chats with the woman, a part of which has already been retrieved by the police. According to some chats which have been recovered, the accused used to talk to many other women also, the police claimed. "Many important chats have been found on the mobile of the accused, during the investigation which has revealed that the accused started avoiding Tunisha after the breakup. Tunisha used to message him repeatedly, but the accused avoided her by not replying to her," the police said on December 31. Sheezan Khan is the reported former boyfriend and co-star of 21-year-old Tunisha, who was allegedly found dead at a TV serial set on December 24, a fortnight after the two broke up their months-long relationship. He was arrested on charges of abetment to suicide on December 25. So far, the police have recorded the statements of 27 people in the matter. Pawan Sharma, the maternal uncle of Tunisha Sharma, said the family members are in deep shock after the incident. "We cannot believe that Tunisha is no more. She used to live with her mother in the Indraprastha building on Mira Road. She used to look after everything. I have full faith in the police. Mumbai, Dec 26 (PTI) Family members of Sheezan Khan, arrested for allegedly abetting the suicide of co-actor Tunisha Sharma on the sets of a television serial near Mumbai, on Monday said he is cooperating in the investigation. In a statement, Khan’s family said they said they have full faith in the judiciary. Khan was arrested on Sunday on the charge of abetting the suicide of Sharma, 21, a day after she was found hanging in the washroom on the set of the television serial ‘Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul’ in Palghar district. He was remanded in police custody for four days by a court in Vasai in Palghar district. “We have full faith in the Indian judiciary system, and Sheezan is cooperating with the Mumbai Police through all the procedures. We will talk about this when the time is right, but for now, please allow us the privacy which our family deserves right now, ” as per a statement issued by Khan’s sisters Shafaq Naaz, Falaq Naaz and other members of the family based in suburban Malad in Mumbai. The Bombay High Court on Thursday refused to grant immediate relief to TV actor Sheezan Khan, arrested for allegedly abetting the suicide of his co-star Tunisha Sharma. A bench of Justices Revati Mohite-Dere and Prithviraj K Chavan was hearing his plea seeking the quashing of the FIR and interim release on bail. It noted that since a separate bail plea moved by Khan (28) was pending before a single-judge bench, the relief should be pursued before the same judge. The single-judge bench will hear the bail plea on February 15.
