Sonakshi Batra plays the role of Naaz in Udaariyaan. Talking about her role, the actress says, “Naaz’s character has two sides. One is the sweet and innocent girl, and the other is the one who plays games and manipulates situations. I lean more towards the sweeter and innocent side, but I agreed to play this role as I found it challenging. The artiste in me was excited to take this opportunity, which would help me grow and explore more.” Sonakshi also shares her experience of shooting in Chandigarh and adds, “The culture, the food and the flavour of Chandigarh are warm and welcoming. I do miss Mumbai but equally excited to be here. I have just joined and the experience of shooting with the team has been really good.” She adds, “The story is very rooted; hence it connects with the emotions of the people. That is what also drew me to take this character up in the show.”

MUMBAI : Udaariyan is one of the most loved and successful shows on television and the story keeps the audience hooked. The show is produced by Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta under the banner of Dreamiyata Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. and Devirosh Films and airs on Colors. MUMBAI: Actress Sukanya Boruah made her TV debut with Colors’ newly launched show Nima Denzongpa, produced by Alind Srivastava and Nissar Parvez’s Peninsula Pictures is a one-of-its-kind story that showcases the life and journey of a girl Nima who hails from the North-East. I have done a film and few advertisements and soon I bagged this show so for me my journey has been quite easy till now. How many TV shows have you followed? Not really, but one show I have dedicatedly watched is Balika Vadhu as it educates and spread awareness amongst masses. How's your bond with your co-actors? We all are quite child out on the sets and by now we all gel very well. We learn each other’s language and having fun on the sets. Since, we are of the dame age we get along well. Dreamiyata is a well-established production house, they know how to do things right and make an artist feel at ease even though one is away from home.” The actor also shares her experience of shooting in Chandigarh. “The Punjabi in me feels like it has come home. The culture, the food, the flavour of Chandigarh has offered so much so far that it has left me feel warm and welcoming here. I do miss Mumbai but equally excited to be here. I have just joined and the experience of shooting with the team has been really good,” she says.
