StudyVillage provides ground-breaking professional mentoring and self-assessment tools for international students. Our programs are the brainchild of a team of education researchers, and clinical industry professionals. Together we’ve identified a complex set of enduring issues for international students, and designed and road-tested systematic interventions. But in the end, it’s about people. StudyVillage is a unique network of professionals who have empathy, time to listen, constructive feedback and then check in to see things are on track. It sounds simple, but it’s making a big difference to international students all over the world. Many studies demonstrate international students suffer from rates of suicide, anxiety, stress, depression, sexual harassment and assault far in excess of those experienced by their domestic student counterparts. The StudyVillage system is targeted at addressing student vulnerability in a methodological, persistent and ultimately very human way. Studyville® was founded in 2020 by Benn and Amanda Vincent. As parents of teen boys, they felt the pains and frustrations of the homework problem first hand.
