Murthy, who was recently conferred with Padma Bhushan award, remembered how she was asked to stand in the queue for economy class flights to India when she was waiting to board her business class flight to Bangalore. Murthy said she preferred to wear salwar-kameez during that journey and maybe because of that she got labelled as “didi” or “behenji”.
