Soundararajan, who is not only the governor, but also a gynecologist and fetal therapist, made these remarks during the launch of the 'Garbha Sanskar' program organised by an RSS-linked body. In the 'Garbha Sanskar' program, initiated by Samvardhinee Nyas, the doctors associated with the organisation provide expectant mothers with a blend of "scientific and traditional" prescriptions to give birth to babies who are expected to turn out as "sanskari and deshbhakt" (culturally rooted and patriotic), as per the information.
