NEW DELHI: Tata Play (formerly known as Tata Sky) has entered the home security solution segment with the launch of Google Nest Cam (battery) in India. The camera will enable users to keep surveillance of their home and small offices. The Google Nest Cam (battery) will use Tata Play's satellite-based platform for a better user experience. Tata Play has also introduced two security solutions with the camera -- Tata Play Secure and Tata Play Secure+. Price and availability The Google Nest Cam (battery) comes with a price tag of Rs 11,999 and it is available on the Tata Play website starting today (June 23). The device comes only in single colour option -- Snow. The security camera from Google will work with the packages offered by Tata Play. The Tata Play Secure+ service will come bundled with the Nest Cam and the annual Nest Aware subscription. The package includes Familiar Face Detection and video history of up to 60 days. In the first phase of its launch, the offering will be available for Tata Play subscribers in 10+ cities including Mumbai + Navi Mumbai, Thane, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore, Kolkata, Delhi + NCR, Lucknow, and Jaipur. It can also see clearly in any light with HDR and night vision capability.
