Dedicated to Lord Shiva and his consort, Devi Parvati, this age-old tradition is observed by devotees who hail from Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh, Chattisgarh, Bihar, Jharkhand and Rajasthan.
