Berry Global Teams Up with Bhoomi to Launch 100% Sugarcane

This 12-ounce HDPE bottle is produced in Winchester, Virginia by Berry and replaces Bhoomi’s standard PET bottle. The Bhoomi bottle is widely recyclable and is made from I’m Green certified material from Braskem. The bottle offers a range of environmental benefits including a significant reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, reduced water use, and the elimination of fossil fuel consumption. The new bio-based bottle was introduced at select Whole Foods Markets in New York and New Jersey in August and will roll out in other stores in Texas, Louisiana, and California. This is one of the first sugarcane-based bottles to be produced commercially by Berry. The bottle is produced on Berry’s standard manufacturing line in a custom mold. Berry Celebrates the Opening of New Healthcare facility in India

Berry Global has marked the completion of its new state-of-the-art healthcare manufacturing facility and Global Centre of Excellence in Bangalore, India with a special opening ceremony. After the official ribbon cutting, customers and senior Berry personnel were honored in a traditional Pooja ceremony followed by the traditional lighting of a lamp. Guests then had the opportunity to tour the new building, which will create around 500 local jobs in the coming years and improve regional and global access to a wide range of advanced healthcare solutions. “The opening of this impressive facility marks another major milestone in Berry’s worldwide healthcare operations,” commented Berry Global Chairman and CEO Tom Salmon. “Our investment in a second factory in Bangalore further strengthens our ability to support healthcare companies with both regional expertise and global capabilities in the development of modern healthcare solutions.
