Erik Arneson is a highly respected board game expert, sharing his 20 years of knowledge on gaming strategies. He's the author of the book, "17 Games You Can Play Right Now," has been a featured speaker at the American International Toy Fair, and is the former Vice President of the Strategy Gaming Society. History of Tic-Tac-Toe An early variation of the game was played in the Roman Empire, around the 1st century B.C. It was called "terni lapilli ,"which means "three pebbles at a time." The game's grid markings have been found chalked all over Roman ruins. Evidence of the game was also found in ancient Egyptian ruins. In a 3-by-3 grid game, the player who is playing "X" always goes first. Players alternate placing Xs and Os on the board until either player has three in a row, horizontally, vertically, or diagonally or until all squares on the grid are filled. If a player is able to draw three Xs or three Os in a row, then that player wins. If all squares are filled and neither player has made a complete row of Xs or Os, then the game is a draw. The gameplay is the same if you are playing on a 4-by-4 grid. The "X" player goes first. And, players alternate placing Xs and Os on the board until a row is completed horizontally, vertically, or diagonally, or all 16 squares are filled. If all 16 squares are filled and neither player has four in a row, the game is a draw. The game can also be played on larger grids, such as 10-by-10 or even 20-by-20. For any grid of 6-by-6 or great...

ABOUT TIC TAC TOE Like the original version, Play Tic Tac Toe is also designed based on the main rules, with nine squares (3x3 for two players), one player uses the symbol O, the other uses the symbol X, and they fill them in turn onto the chessboard to form a separate sequence of symbols. The winner is the one who can create his or her own sequence of symbols, either horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. If both sides obstruct the opponent's path, the chessboard is marked as a draw. To determine the victor of the game, both players must advance to the following round and go inside with the greater score. Challenge your friends to see who will be crowned champion! THE ORIGIN OF TIC TAC TOE Play Tic Tac Toe can be traced back to 1300 BC in ancient Egypt when game boards were discovered on roofing sheets. In the first century BC, a variant of Play Tic Tac Toe was played in the Roman Empire. It's called a terni lapilli (three pebbles at a time), and instead of having any number of pieces, each player only has three, so they must move them to the vacant spaces in order to keep playing. Grid markings from the game have been spotted all throughout Rome. The three-man game, a similarly comparable ancient game, is likewise played on a basic grid and takes three successive pieces to finish. Tick-tack-toe or tic-tac-toe are some of the numerous names for this game. However, this game has been rebuilt by our talented game developers and officially named Play Tic Tac Toe. HOW TO PLA...
