India logs 9,111 new Covid

India on Monday logged 9,111 fresh Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, down from 10,093 cases reported the previous day. The active caseload, however, breached the 60,000 mark, with 60,313 cases reported, according to the Union Health Ministry. Twenty-seven fatalities were recorded in the last 24 hours.
