20 Crazy Concept Phones

It’s one thing to know what the This slideshow is a collection of our favorite futuristic phone designs, ranging from realistic to not-so-much. Some come from the desks of design firms. Others come from the minds of folks who know their way around Photoshop and have a little too much free time on their hands. Still others are real prototypes from handset makers. When Nokia conceptualized the The Morph, as its name suggests, would also change form, the company says: “Using the same principle behind spider silk, this elasticity enables the device to literally change shapes and configure itself to adapt to the task at hand.” Nokia has a video posted to YouTube that delves into I hope Sony Ericsson someday makes this concept phone, which comes with the imaginary specs of an OLED display, a 3.2-megapixel camera, 2GB of storage, and an integrated FM tuner. I love the ultrasleek handset, and it offers a flip-down camera. It has been three years since Sony Ericsson showed off the phone, so it’s time to bring this product to market–or at least to update the make-believe specs and give the device a 10-megapixel camera. In this project, we will explain about the circuit which is used to charge your phone devices safely by converting 220 volts of AC supply into voltage supply rating of your cell phone. Today cell phone chargers come with different power supply in the market. In this project we will be making a circuit that will be used to get 5 volts regulated DC supply from 220 volts of AC supply. This circuit can also be used as power supply for other devices, breadboards, There are basically four steps involved in making a cell phone charger. First step is stepping down the 220 volts of AC supply into small voltage. Second step involves rectification of AC into DC by using a full wave bridge rectifier. Since the DC voltage obtained in second step, contains AC ripple which is removed using filtration process. The last step is the Related Projects: • • • • • • • • • • Cell Phone Charger...

Cell Phone Charger Parts: Names & Functions?

• Share • Tweet • Pin Are you curious about the workings of your cell phone charger parts? Despite their varying designs and sizes, all chargers share a common purpose – to recharge your phone’s battery. Every charger, no matter its make or model, is composed of several key parts. These include the power plug, transformer, rectifier, filters, and voltage regulators, and, of course, the charger connector. If you’ve ever wanted to understand more about the parts of your charger, their names, and their roles, then you’ve come to the right place. Plus, we’ll also guide you on where to find high-quality replacement parts if you ever need to fix a component. Let’s dive in! What Are the Parts of Your Cell Phone Charger? (5 Components) #1 Power Plug Think of the Power Plug as the gateway to the energy source for your cell phone charger. This is the part that connects to your wall outlet. Power Plugs can differ in shape and size, usually conforming to the common outlets in your country. Different Power Plugs are provided based on the geographical market of the mobile device. #2 Transformer Transformers are vital electrical circuits that step down the voltage of the electrical current from your wall outlet. This stepping down is necessary because the voltage from most household outlets is too high to charge a mobile directly. Depending on the charger, the transformer adjusts the voltage to a range that your cell phone can safely handle, typically between 5 to 12 volts. #3 Rectifier ...

Hasbro’s new $700 Optimus Prime toy can finally transform all on its own

The new Transformer is almost breathtaking in its complexity: Hasbro says that the 19-inch figure features roughly 5,000 components, 27 patented servo motors, and 60 connected microchips in order to pull off the automated transforming feature. In addition to a mobile app, the new Optimus Prime toy also features voice commands that allow owners to control the transforming action or drive around the vehicle form by shouting things like “roll out” or “convert.” The new model is being built in partnership with Robosen Robotics, which, Polygon, has been making suspiciously Transformer-looking motorized robots for years. The new collaboration with Hasbro, though, gives Robosen the chance to bring its skills to an official Transformer product instead of a look-alike.
