Noida Schools News, Noida Weather Today, Noida AQI Today: Schools in Noida and Greater Noida have been asked to hold online classes in view of the rising air pollution in Delhi-NCR. According to an order issued by the authority, all schools in Noida and Greater Noida will hold online classes till November 8. District Inspector of Schools (DIOS) for Gautam Buddh Nagar, Dharmveer Singh, has also instructed the schools to hold classes for students in Classes 9 to 12 online as much as possible. The order said that all outdoor activities, including sports and meetings, would remain completely prohibited in all schools. According to data from the System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting and Research, the national capital's air quality on Thursday fell into the "severe" category, with the city's overall Air Quality Index (AQI) standing at 418. Similarly, Gurugram's AQI was reported at 393 under the "very poor" category, with PM 2.5 concentration at 393 and PM 10 concentration at 327 under the "very poor" category. The severe category of air quality calls for health warnings of emergency conditions and even serious risk of respiratory effects on the general public. Delhi, parts of north India to witness rainfall ahead of cyclone Biparjoy landfall in Gujarat IMD has predicted light to moderate intensity rainfall in Delhi-NCR region ahead of the cyclone Biparjoy landfall in Gujarat. The weather department has also predicted rainfall in parts of Punjab, Haryana and UP. In a tweet, IMD said, "Thunderstorm with light to moderate intensity rain and gusty winds with speed of 30-40 Km/h would occur over and adjoining areas of few places of Delhi (Narela, Alipur, Dwarka, Delhi Cantt, India Gate, Akshardham, Palam, Safdarjung, Lodi Road, Nehru Stadium, IGI Airport)". "Light to moderate intensity rain would occur over and adjoining areas of ( Karawal Nagar, Dilshad Garden, Seemapuri), NCR ( Loni Dehat, Hindon AF Station, Ghaziabad) Hansi, Meham, Sonipat, Rohtak, Kharkhoda (Haryana) Saharanpur," it said. The rainfall will also occur in Deoband, Muzaffarnagar, Bagpat, Khekra, Modinagar, Pilakhua, Hapur, Gulaoti, Sikandrabad, Bulandshahar (U.P.)" the weatherman said. The IMD further said, "thunderstorm with light to moderate intensity rain would occur over and adjoining areas of Yamunanagar, Kurukshetra (Haryana) Gangoh (U.P.) during next 2 hours."
