Thor: Love and Thunder could honestly be a stand-alone film, and you’d be fine not watching any movies to prepare for it if you’re a casual Marvel fan. However, if you want some backstory before you go into it, these are the most important movies to watch before Thor: Love and Thunder. List of Movies to Watch Before Thor: Love and Thunder Phase 4 of the MCU has brought some great Marvel films and some not-so-great films. If you’ve watched all the Thor Well, Thor should be your first watch so you get to know where Thor comes from and who he is as a character. Plus you’ll get introduced to Jane Foster, Thor’s love interest. The Avengers I recommend The Avengers if you’re not familiar with Marvel movies at all, because then when you watch Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame you won’t be so hella confused.
