I have been travelling in Wizzride from… I have been travelling in Wizzride from June 2022 and was really impressed by the concept and the vision of the founders. But recently I have been very disappointed with its performance. Their drivers, though good, are disgruntled and the taxis travelling on the Bagdogra to Kalimpong route are poorly maintained. On Sunday, 10th July I was travelling from Kalimpong to Siliguri. The seat allotted to me was 4. The seat was broken and I had to travel with my neck bent the entire route. The windows were so dirty I couldn't see outside. The other regular passengers told me that the seat had been broken many days earlier. The customer service when contacted had no idea of what to do, nor could they connect me to their executive when requested. If the seat had been broken earlier Wizzride should not have taken bookings on that seat until it was repaired. To take full money from a passenger against a damaged seat is unethical and a really bad practice. I wonder if anyone in charge has any idea what is happening on the ground. An awesome idea will get a bad reputation because of the careless attitude of its lower rung management. I hope Wizzride executives will reach out to me and solve this problem at the earliest. I expect a refund of my ticket or an adjustment against future rides and hope that the service to Kalimpong meets the high standards expected of this initiative.
