Yamunotri Temple in Yamunotri Inside Yamunotri Temple The interior of the temple consists of a Garba Griha (sanctum sanatorium) and a Mandap (assembly hall) where devotees gather for darshan and prayer. The Garba Griha contains the idol of Goddess Yamuna made with black marble and decorated with garlands. There is an idol of Goddess Ganga in white stone beside the idol of Goddess Yamuna. Yamunotri Temple History and Architecture Yamunotri Temple was constructed by king of th century AD after a massive portion of the temple was damaged due to an earthquake. उत्तराखंड चारधाम यात्रा: उत्तराखंड में बस हादसे रुकने का नाम नहीं ले रहे हैं।उत्तराखंड में एक बार फिर गुरुवार कोबस हादसा हुआ है। केदारनाथ, गंगोत्री-यमुनोत्री समेत चारों धामों की दर्शन कर लौट रहे तीर्थयात्रियों की बस रास्ते में पलट गई। बस पलटने सेतीथयात्रियों की बचाओ-बचाओ की चीख-पुकार मच गई। बस हादसे के वक्त में 29 तीर्थयात्री सवार थे। बस पलटने के तुरंत बाद ही स्थानीय लोग यात्रियों को रेस्क्यू करने में जुट गए थे। पुलिस को भी सूचित किया जा चुका है।उत्तराखंड में बस हादसा धारी देवी के समीप चमधार नेशनल हाईवे पर हुआ है। बस पलटने के बाद घायल तीर्थयात्रियों को रेस्क्यू कर नजदीकि अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया। एक तीर्थयात्री गंभीर रूप से घायल हुआ है।
