Médecin, romancier, essayiste, l’auteur de La Maladie de Sachs ou du Chœur des femmes, Marc Zaffran, alias Martin Winckler, a écrit un ouvrage consacré au justicier masqué, Le Rire de Zorro , paru chez Bayard en 2005. Il répond aux questions du Figaro à la pointe de la plume. LE FIGARO. - Pourquoi Zorro revient-il aujourd’hui sur le devant de la scène? Martin WINCKLER. - Parce que les goûts narratifs oscillent et reviennent par cycles. Zorro est l’ancêtre des super-héros. Or ils sont devenus si complexes ces dernières années que le public désire quelque chose de plus simple. Nous avons besoin de retrouver une figure héroïque capable de prendre des risques sans super-pouvoirs. Les super-héros sauvent l’univers. Mais qui va s’occuper de nous? Pour vous, qui est-il?
