So, for those who missed witnessing the action-packed performance of the charming actor, here's the chance for a full entertainment dose. An Action Hero was released in the theatres on December 2 and was highly praised for its intelligent script, dialogues, and fast-paced narrative. Though the movie couldn't do well at the box office, it was able to gain appreciation from the critics. Opening up about the movie, Ayushmann told the media that while shooting for the film, the actor felt like he was making a debut all over again. He had to unlearn a lot of things to get into the groove for the character. Talking about it, the actor said, "It felt like I was making my debut in the Hindi film industry while filming for 'An Action Hero'. I have never explored this genre in my career so I had to unlearn and learn many things to pull off this role effectively on screen. I had a lot of fun and I hope audiences will appreciate what I have tried to do on screen with a disruptive film like 'An Action Hero'". The fourth installment of the "Expendables" is on its way, and a new trailer reveals new faces and returning stars to the franchise. Almost ten years after "The Expendables 3" in 2014, Jason Statham, Sylvester Stallone, Dolph Lundgren, and Randy Couture reprise their roles. Newcomers include Megan Fox and Curtis Jackson, better known as 50 Cent. "The Expendables," written by Stallone, was first released in 2010 and received a sequel in 2012. During his attempt to escape Maanav's car runs out of gas and Bhoora confronts him. He tries to prove his innocence, but Bhoora does not listen and tries to kill him. Maanav manages overpower and lock Bhoora in the car's trunk. Upon pressuring his manager, Roshan, for help, Maanav finally gets to meet another lawyer and fixer, Sai, for capturing potential footage of Bhoora killing the two cops. Sai tells Maanav to meet his contact in Meanwhile, Bhoora escapes by calling a towing company and follows and kills Sai. When Bhoora was about to kill Maanav, he is intercepted by Kaadir, Sai's friend. Maanav and Bhoora together overpower Kaadir, but Maanav gets in the car and flees again leaving Bhoora behind. Bhoora manages to learn of Maanav's whereabouts from Kaadir as a hostage. Meanwhile, Maanav gets fed up of hiding, and surrenders himself to the police with the footage that Sai's contact procured from the dashcams of the cars nearby Maanav's house in Portsmouth. A solidly entertaining black action comedy. Despite of a far fetched storyline, it is quite cleverly structured with enjoyable humor, satires, meta elements, social commentary, thumping music and non stop actions. The media circus portrayal and insider digs were outright hilarious. It does hit some lows, but doesn’t hurt the flow much as it holds good suspense and wackiness right through. Ayushmann Khurrana and Jaideep Ahlawat dominate the show and carry the entire load with effortless ease. If you’re up for a fun ride, then go for it. • Nothing much to say but this was kinda fun but way too many loopholes but the fact is film knows and accepts that and isn't trying to take itself very seriously with the way they played with how media and audience perceive an action hero. Nothing such great performances and writing but direction is quite ok but the choices made by the writers is ridiculous and hilarious and not in a good way. A fun one time watch film and that's it. Also love to see Ayushman abusing Arnab Goswami in the film lmao and that early cameo wasn't I was expecting.
