‘If you believe in fairies, then clap your hands.’ In J.M Barrie’s classic novel Peter Pan, the characters were asked to clap to bring back to life the dying fairy Tinkerbell. In SAB TV’s fairy show Baal Veer (Optimystix) there may be no fairy with the same name who has to be brought back to life by a loud round of applause. There are numerous beautiful fairies instead who by their sweet nature and angelic deeds have made this series reach the milestone of 200 episodes today (28 June 2013). So put your hands together to celebrate this achievement of this serial. The first person we were to contact was Dev Joshi who plays the super boy Baal Veer in the show. He excitedly told us, “I feel great. May our project run into 1000 or 2000 episodes. It has been great fun playing this extra-ordinary kid. If I had super powers like him in real life I would also have helped humanity just like he does.” Shama Sikander who plays Bhayankar Pari said, “It feels great.
