Bbmp property tax payment last date with rebate

Amid its drive to collect more revenue, the BBMP announced that property owners would be eligible for a 5% rebate if they pay their property tax for the 2022-23 financial year before April 30, 2022. BBMP HQ (WIKI COMMONS) BBMP wrote on Twitter: “Property owners within BBMP limits can avail a 5% rebate if they pay their property tax for 2022-23 before April 30th, 2022. Visit Bengaluru one/Nagarika Seva Kendra/ BBMP's Revenue Office or use BBMP's website http://bbmptax.karnataka.gov.in to pay your property tax.” Earlier, the BBMP had said property tax collected had crossed the ₹3000-meark for the first time. According to data uploaded on their website, the civic body had collected ₹3,074.95 in the 2021-22 fiscal. The year before ₹250 crore less had been collected in property tax. Data also suggested that most tax had been collected from Mahadevapura and East zones. Other zones which contributed high tax were South, West, Bommanahalii, Yelahanka, Rajarajeshwarinagar and Dasarahalli zones. BBMP’s instruction for taxpayers 1. If the property tax return for the previous year has not been filed, property tax for the current year shall be accompanied with the return and dues, if any for the previous years. 2.
