In a terrifying incident that took place in a village in Hathras (Uttar Pradesh), a 19-year-old Dalit girl was brutally assaulted and allegedly gang-raped by four upper-caste Thakur men on 14 September 2020. The girl later succumbed to injuries in Delhi’s Safdarjang Hospital on 29 September 2020.
