Royal Enfield Bullet 350 Design And Style The Royal Enfield Bullet is a retro-styled motorcycle, and the Bullet 350 is also the entry level model from the iconic bike maker. The Bullet was introduced in 1931 and carries a rich heritage of the longest production run motorcycle since 1948. The Royal Enfield Bullet 350 carries the design of an old-school motorcycle, thanks to its chrome finished rounded headlight which sits perfectly on the body coloured suspension and front mudguard. The side profile of the Bullet features Royal Enfield's signature teardrop fuel tank, stepped seat, 19-inch spoked wheels and body coloured battery box. The rear taillight is reminiscent of the old Bullets, along with the old round turn indicators. Royal Enfield Bullet 350 Engine And Performance The Royal Enfield Bullet 350 is powered by a 346cc, single-cylinder, four-stroke, air-cooled petrol engine. The unit produces 19.8bhp @ 5250rpm and 28Nm of torque @ 4000rpm and comes integrated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. All of this brings the Bullet to life with a kick starter. New-gen Bullet 350 styling While there are some visual tweaks, new-gen Bullet retains much of its core character. Just like its predecessors, the bike’s striking road presence and bold attitude will continue to be a major draw for enthusiasts. Some of the key changes that have been seen on test mules include a new headlamp and taillamp. These are not very different from the ones used on new-gen Classic 350. Chrome highlights have been used liberally and they are around the same level as compared to existing Bullet. Chrome bits can be seen on the headlamp, turn indicators, fuel tank and rear view mirrors. The long chrome plated exhaust pipe is another feature that makes the bike hard to miss on the streets. Retro theme is largely the same as earlier, with features like round headlamp and turn indicators, classic tear-drop shaped fuel tank, old-school utility boxes on the side, broad rear mud guard and wire-spoke wheels. Behind the Bullet: .350 Rigby Magnum

In more recent times, the 1994 release of the .450 Rigby gave dangerous game hunters a bit more bullet weight than the .416 Rigby and has developed a small but devout following among both professional hunters and their clients alike. But there is another Rigby cartridge, vastly overlooked even among rifle cranks, but which was at one time as popular as the .375 H&H Magnum: the .350 Rigby Magnum. Released in 1908, the .350 Rigby Magnum is an entirely original design, with no parent cartridge. The cartridge predates the more famous .416 by three years, and the .350 Rigby was the first to feature the sharp 45-degree shoulder which is the hallmark of the Rigby designs. The body of the .350 Magnum measures 0.517 inches at the base, smaller than the 0.589-inch base of the .416 Rigby. The .350 Magnum has a case length of 2.742 inches, and an overall cartridge length 3.44 inches, so it will feel at home in a magnum-length receiver. The classic .350 Rigby Magnum load pushes a .358-inch diameter 225-grain bullet to a muzzle velocity of 2625 fps for 3,440 ft.-lbs. of muzzle energy. As it was released in the first century of the 20 th century, when the common boundaries of cartridge usage were being defined, the .350 Rigby Magnum was considered an all-around cartridge, especially in the more open terrain of British and German East Africa, known today as Kenya and Tanzania. The softpoints were used for the various antelope species, dangerous cats and even buffalo, while the full-patch,...
