Navratri is considered to be an auspicious festival of nine days which is celebrated with great zeal across India by lakhs of devotees. This festival is celebrated to worship Maa Durga who is the deity of power, energy and wisdom. Navratri is observed twice in a year—once during spring which is called (Chaitra Navratri) and another falls during autumn that is knows as (Sharad Navratri).
