Greetings to All of you. The script is plotting FII & DII activity of buying or selling on Daily TimeFrame of Nifty Spot. Will display only on Nifty 50 Spot on Daily TimeFrame. Codes are hardcoded because novice to PineScripting. Data is collected from NSE website on daily basis, it's an manual process. Observation: • Start date of observation is 16th Nov., 2021. FII bought worth 14,240 & kept buying for next 2 days & bought stocks worth 17,760 crores. But market kept falling as we can see in the chart. • Now FII's started selling & in next 5 days they sold stocks worth 18,698 crores. What makes sense from this is might have cut their losses early. FII's kept selling & Nifty made an low of 16410. FII had sold stocks worth -21,954 crores. • FII are negative & the top green box which you see is FII & DII activity from 19th Oct 2021 when Nifty Spot made an High of 18604.45. • As of 14th Jan.,2022 they are still Negative & DII are extremely positive. NOTE: DII have not sold any thing yet. They are PLUS +74,428 Crore. Now if they start selling we need to take care of our portfolio. Hope the information might help in someway. FII And DII FII stands for Foreign institutional investors. It refers to investors from other countries putting money in Indian stock markets. These are in the form of sovereign wealth funds, investment trusts, mutual funds, and pension funds apart from banks. Domestic institutional investors also referred to as DII comprise of local mutual funds, insurance companies, local pension funds, and banking and financial institutions. FII and DII are an essential component of the Indian Stock Market and the direction or flow of the market often depends on these two aspects. FII stands for Foreign Institutional investors and DII stands for Domestic Institutional Investors. It is imperative that investors or traders study the FII and DII activity thoroughly before investing as data predominantly determines the entire course of the FII and DII are an integral part of the Indian Stock Market. Foreign institutional investors (FII) sold shares worth a net Rs 2,393.94 crore while domestic institutional investors (DII) bought shares worth a net Rs 1,378.49 crore on Wednesday, January 25, 2023, according to the data available on NSE. For the month till January 26, FII sold shares worth a net Rs 23,254.43 crore while DII bought shares worth a net Rs 19,140.58 crore. In the month of December, FIIs sold shares worth a net of Rs 14,231.09 crore while DIIs purchased equities worth a net of Rs 24,159.13 crore. “Indian equities witnessed significant sell-off as the market appeared apprehensive ahead of the upcoming Union Budget and Fed meeting next week.
