19780 Cull Canyon Road, Castro Valley, CA 94552 This fire station houses an engine and a patrol unit. Other buildings on site are a workshop used for wooden ladder repair and SCBA maintenance. Station #6 responds to all of the canyon areas and the easternmost areas in Castro Valley. This fire station was formerly Station #2 in the Castro Valley Fire Department. 6901 Villareal Avenue, Castro Valley, CA 94552 The station houses one engine and a specialized 4-wheel drive Type III engine. The station services Highway 580 east to the Dublin Grade and west to Strobridge Avenue. It also services the urban wildland interface commonly found in its area. This fire station was previously Station #4 in the Castro Valley Fire Department. ** This location’s firefighters were relocated to ACFD Station 20, where Engine 8 and Engine 308 respond from. Though Fire Station 8 no longer houses firefighters or equipment, it remains an out of service fire station facility for the department. ** 1617 College Avenue, Livermore, CA 94550 This fire station has one Type I engine, one Type III engine and a patrol. Station #8’s response area is the largest in the ACFD, encompassing 280 square miles of open range land and freeways.
