PHS Announces Location and Dates for the 2023 Flower Show

After 2 Outdoor Shows at FDR Park, the Philadelphia Flower Show Makes its Return to the Pennsylvania Convention Center March 4-12, 2023 June 21, 2022- PHILADELPHIA, PA - Today, the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society announced that the 2023 Philadelphia Flower Show will return to its indoor location at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, in early spring from March 4-12, 2023. After transitioning the Flower Show outdoors to South Philadelphia’s FDR Park for the past two years due to COVID-19 concerns, the 2023 Flower Show will once again welcome guests to experience the first taste of Spring indoors. For first-time visitors and longtime Flower Show fans alike, this return indoors will offer a beautiful respite after a lengthy winter. In 2023, PHS invites guests back to celebrate the spectacular and decadent floral displays that the award-winning Flower Show is known for, and to embrace the radiance and joy that flowers provide. Chelsea Flower Show: Kate meets gardeners for first children's picnic

In a previously unannounced visit to the world-famous event in west She sat down at the bandstand with the first children’s picnic at the show, which is organised by the Royal Horticultural Society. The princess was seen talking and laughing with children from 10 schools as they sat on blankets eating from baskets filled with fresh fruit. Kate told them: ‘Louis is growing broad beans at school,’ and sketched some flowers and plants for them instead of giving them a signature. The RHS launched a school gardening scheme which aims to encourage more young people to get involved with the outdoors and nature. Kate has long championed this idea, and she co-designed a garden at the flower show in 2019 to encourage people to get back in touch with nature.
