India beat Ireland by 143 runs at Malahide. (Reuters) India beat Ireland by 143 runs at The Village, Dublin in the second T20I on Friday. With this victory, India have also ensured a clean sweep of 2-0 in the series. Put into bat India piled on a massive 213/4 and in reply Ireland failed to get off to a good start. Early strikes by Umesh Yadav and crucial blows in the middle overs by the wristspinners ensured India seal a comfortable win. The margin of 143 runs is also India’s biggest win in T20I wins. Ireland’s total of 70 was also the lowest T20I score against India. Incidentally, this is the first time India have won a T20I by more than 100 runs. Boyd Rankin is stumped for 10 and with that, the Irish innings comes to a close at 70. They simply haven't been in the game tonight. Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal have picked up six wickets among themselves. Chasing 214 was always going to be difficult and early blows by Umesh Yadav did not allow Ireland to get going as they ultimately fell short by 143 runs. This is also India's biggest win in T20 cricket. They have won the series by a margin of 2-0. James Shannon is out for 2. IND vs IRE 1st T20I Highlights: Deepak Hooda leads India's comfortable chase against Ireland to win 1st T20I

Hello and welcome to Sportstar's coverage of the first T20I between India and Ireland from Dublin. That's it for today folks. Looking forward to the next and last game of this series on Tuesday. Josh Little is back and Hooda drives him nonchalantly for a boundary. Just two more needed. And one more drive down the off side. Hooda seals the deal. An extremely comfortable chase for India with 16 balls to spare. Hooda ends on 47, missing out on a well deserving half-centruy. 103/3 from 9 overs. Just six more runs needed. Dinesh Karthik out in the middle. Probably the easiest finishing job for DK this year. Olphert has been convincing with the ball after that first-ball six. But Dinesh Karthik decides to put a bit of a stain on it. Glorious cut through the covers for a boundary. Josh Little back into the attack. Hooda cuts him away with ease for four. Does one better two balls later as he ramps one over the keeper for one more four. It is all too easy for the Indian side at this moment. It is Hardik's turn now. Smashes a six over long off. Little thinks he got his man. Raps Pandya in his back pad. Umpire gives it in favour of the bowler and Pandya refers it straight away. But it goes in Ireland's favour. A little too late it seems. 94/3 after 8 78/2 after 7. Just 31 needed from 30 balls Conor Olphert comes in and Deepak Hooda welcomes him with a flick for a six . Not the way he must have imagined his first ever ball on his debut. But Olphert has redeemed himself since, beating ...
