It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness. ok, i see some people saying it gets hot and shuts off. you might want to check your install and make sure your impedence (ohms) are correct for this amp. I bought this after watching that you tube video as well. Big D has never steered me wrong. This amp is the main amp for bass in my system. I have an active 3 way front stage, a front sub and the new Kicker L7, in a kicker ported box. this amp is amazing. I had a JL audio 35th anniversary 13w driven by a jl1000 and it didnt hit this hard. now, could there be a few defective ones? Sure, but the vast majority of people are loving this amp. and for $119? SCORE! I've always been a hardcore JBL fan, from my ear buds and bluetooth speaker to my home surround sound and car audio. I bought this amp to replace my old JBL BP300.1 amp and just like the amp it replaced, do not let the size of this amp fool you as this little thing is powerful! I have it running at 2-ohms on a single JBL MS-12sD4 sub in a sealed enclosure and I couldn't be any happier! I can promise you that this amp will pump any sub cleanly and efficiently...
