Most tour Operators said September is the best month to visit, right after the monsoon rains. Though bulk of people plan their visit in June, the Helicopter only flew in early morning for few hrs and hence 70% people had to cancel their bookings. The weather would change very frequently in late morning and afternoons for Helicopters. We went on horseback in June and weather was all good till dark. So if planning to go by helicopter Sept. is better as helicopter files all day. thx The weather at the top is cold but with warm cloths it is perfect for 6 year old.
