For the last three days, Delhi and the NCR region received a good spell of rain leading to waterlogging and severe traffic congestion in several parts of the city on Saturday. According to IMD data, the city got 15 mm of rain during the period of 8:30 am on Friday to 8:30 am on Saturday. After 8:30 am, Delhi's Safdarjung Observatory gauged 6 mm of rainfall. Heatwave in Delhi for 3 days, temperature to cross 40 degrees Celsius: The TL;DR

Get your water bottles ready: Delhi is likely to endure a heatwave for the next three days until June 15, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said in its Monday bulletin. The big point: Heatwave conditions are expected to prevail over south Haryana-Delhi, and south Uttar Pradesh during June 11-13. Several other parts of the country, including Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, and Telangana are also predicted to experience extreme heat in the coming few days. New Delhi: Delhi experienced a warm morning on Monday with the minimum temperature settling at 28.8 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average. The relative humidity recorded at 8.30 am was 53 per cent, said the weather department.
