Boglárka Hacsis bested 15 other competitors to win Magyarország Szépe 2023 (Miss World Hungary 2023) in a national competition held on Sunday, June 11 at Symbol Budapest. The 23-year-old beauty from Miskolc succeeds Lili Tótpet and will now prepare to represent Hungary at the 71st Miss World (Miss World 2023) in India later this year. Orsolya Szabó and Zafír Bella Novák were respectively named the first and second runners-up while Patrícia Koncz and Lilla Csasztvan rounded out the Top 5 finalists. The 24-year-old former Miss Arkansas Teen USA from Fayetteville is a graduate of the University of Arkansas, a 3rd Grade teacher, and a dance coach. After Miss Teen USA 2018, Mackenzie persistently joined the Miss Arkansas USA pageant three times before finally winning the title. In April this year, Karan Kapoor, a model and fitness influencer won the Mr World 2022 body building contest. The young man from Kanpur who also has a large number of followers on social media apps like Instagram and Moj, won the admiration of the judges at the competition for his fitness levels and chiselled body. In an interview with Indulge he tells us about winning the title, his fitness journey and what keeps him motivated: How do you feel after being named Mr. World? What all went behind the preparation for the same, and since when were you preparing to participate in this competition? The IFBB recently posted on their Instagram about Mr. Universe India which will kick-off the first of six events that will take place around the world in 2022. Last year the IFBB Mr. Universe returned to center stage, where the fanfare proved to be special. After a 44-year hiatus, the IFBB brought back the famous event, which turned out to be a great decision. WHAT IS THE IFBB? Initially, the International Federation of Bodybuilders, or IFBB, is an organization that was founded in Montréal, Canada, by Ben and Joe Weider brothers back in 1946. It is now headquartered in Madrid, Spain. The IFBB currently holds 2,500 competitions worldwide with over 190 affiliated federations. The most notable IFBB competitions include Mr. Olympia, Arnold Classic, Mr. Universe, and IFBB World Championships. WHAT IS MR. UNIVERSE? The IFBB brought back Mr. Universe with tremendous success. The National Amateur Body Builders Association or NABBA also has held the Mr. Universe bodybuilding competition from 1948 to 2019, with the 2020 event canceled due to Covid-19. However, the event hosted by NABBA isn't affiliated with the IFBB Mr. Universe, which can cause some confusion. For the sake of this post, we'll focus on the IFBB's Mr. Universe. The Mr Gay World pageant took place at the Artscape Opera House in Cape Town, Western Cape on Saturday 15 October. This marked the seventh time that the pageant was hosted in South Africa. Although Shanon Kannigan represented Mzansi on the global stage, it was Puerto Rico’s José Lopez who walked away as Mr Gay World 2022.
