Why in News? On 6 May 2023, the General Administration Department of Madhya Pradesh issued instructions to start the second phase of the Mukhyamantri Jan-Seva Abhiyan. Key Points: • The second phase of Mukhyamantri Jan Sewa Abhiyan will be launched in the state from May 10 to 25 for the services provided to the common citizens and 100 percent redressal of their problems by the government departments. • Mainly this campaign will have 2 major components. In the first component, applications pending in the offices of all such departments, which are related to civil services, will be disposed of as far as possible. Along with this, the complaints pending in the CM Helpline will be redressed. • On the other hand, in the second component, 100 percent redressal of the complaints registered and currently pending in the CM Helpline till 15 April 2023, will be done. The information of redressal will also be compulsorily given to the concerned complainant. • In this campaign, service delivery camps will be organized in all the field offices providing identified 67 services to the citizens. • All collectors will nominate specific nodal officers for each office in their district where the camp will be held. The applications for the identified 67 services which are pending online or offline in the respective offices before the start of the campaign, will be recorded on the portal for their disposal during the campaign and for each day's disposal. • Redressal of the applications for pres...

Indore: Second round of Mukhayantri Jan Seva Abhiyan start from 10

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): The second round of Mukhyamantri Jan Seva Abhiyan will be organized from May 10 to 25. During this, camps will be organized in all the field offices providing the identified 67 services to provide these services. Collector Dr. Ilayaraja T. has instructed the concerned officers to put up banners of the second round of Mukhyamantri Jan Seva Abhiyan in all the above offices. Applications received daily for the identified services of Revenue, General Administration, Public Health and Family Welfare, Energy, Tribal Welfare, Higher Education, Madhya Pradesh State Agricultural Marketing Board, Cooperative, Technical Education, Skill Development and Employment, Horticulture and Transport Department for the campaign. The number of applications and the number of rejected applications will be entered on the portal. It will be ensured that the applications for the above services received between May10 and May 25 are registered in the portal. A specific nodal officer will be nominated for each office where the camp will be held. Instructions have been given by the Collector to make suitable arrangements for seating and drinking water etc. for the applicants coming to each office. Collector Dr. Ilayaraja has said that the aim of all efforts should be that after the end of the campaign, there should not be any eligible applications left for the above identified 67 services.

Seva Abhiyan: Jan Seva Abhiyan 2.0: Over 300 Get Driving Licence

Indore: Indore district administration and Regional Transport Office (RTO) on Wednesday started holding camps in educational institutes to offer different services under ‘Mukhyamantri Jan Seva Abhiyan 2.0’. The first day of the camps witnessed huge rush of youth to apply for driving licence. ARTO Archana Mishra said: Camps in Vaishnav Vidyapith and Oriental College on Wednesday witnessed hundreds of students, especially girls, applying for driving license. Of them, on Wednesday, around 300 applicants were issued a learning licence that has validity of 6 months to appear for a “As the campaign has started statewide, the server was down,” said the ARTO adding that as a way out, the department has planned to educate around 10 volunteers to visit all the colleges to teach and help the students in applying for learning licence. “We have raised the issue to the headquarters and recently received around 8000 cards,” said Mishra adding that the department was also educating applicants about the electronic form of vehicle registration and driving licence that can be saved and used through mParivahan and DigiLocker.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the disposal of 96.6 per cent cases at the state level is a remarkable achievement in the Mukhyamantri Jan-Seva Abhiyan which started from May 10. Various pending works of the common man should be completed by July 15. This campaign was conducted as a spell of good governance. Along with the administrative staff, the ministers in charge of the districts should also continuously review the redressal of public grievances. Chief Minister Chouhan also congratulated the administrative staff and people’s representatives of 5 districts Ratlam, Dewas, Shajapur, Khargone and Indore for resolving maximum number of applications while doing excellent work in the campaign.
