WI vs NZ, 3rd ODI Highlights: New Zealand won the third and final ODI against West Indies by five wickets as they chased down 302. As a result, they won the series 2-1. Earlier, New Zealand won the toss and opted to bat against West Indies in the third and final ODI in Bridgetown, Barbados. The series is evenly poised at 1-1 after New Zealand's comprehensive win in the previous match. New Zealand are yet to win an ODI series in the West Indies, but now have the opportunity to do so. The visitors had earlier won the T20I series 2-1. West Indies, on the other hand, have won just one of their last 11 ODIs, which has seen them lose three series on the trot. Right then! History In 2012, these two sides met in the ICC World T20, with the Men in Maroon not only defeating New Zealand but also winning the event. So far, the Kiwis have won 6, the WI have won 3, while three other matches have been in ties in 13 T20I encounters between the two teams. Their Test match rivalry dates back to 1952. In the following 68 years, these two clubs will play a total of 17 series. In the longer formats, their head-to-head stats are relatively similar, with the Kiwis leading the West Indies 7-6, with four series ending in draws. Format The T20I leg of the West Indies vs New Zealand series will commence on August 10, 2022, at Sabina Park in Jamaica.
