OnePlus 10: Here's 6 changes we want to see

That may seem like jumping the gun to some — let us enjoy the new phones first, buddy!— but in the world of smartphones, you're only as good as your next release. Even if you aren't yet thinking about what OnePlus should do with its future phones, you can bet that the phone maker is. • • As a rule, OnePlus doesn't rest on its laurels for long, rolling out a new flagship phone every six months. With the wraps coming off the OnePlus 9 series in March, that puts us on track for a new phone in the September/October time frame. When that phone arrives, we've already got a list of features we're hoping to see. What the OnePlus 9 got right OnePlus has already set a pretty high bar for its future phones with the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro. We've reviewed both devices, and we've come away impressed. The OnePlus 9 Pro is now the Both phones feature fast-refreshing displays, with the $969 OnePlus 9 Pro able to dynamically adjust that refresh rate depending on what you're doing. The OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro each last a long time on a charge, and OnePlus' best-in-class WarpCharge 65T technology means you'll be able to fully charge a drained battery in little more than half-an-hour. The Snapdragon 888 silicon inside both phones delivers an experience that rivals any Android device. In the past, cameras have been the one weak spot with OnePlus phones — not bad, exactly, but not ...

OnePlus 10: Specs, rumors, and what we want to see in OnePlus's next flagship

OnePlus' 2022 has had a rocky start. Despite strong sales in 2021, it alienated hardcore fans by releasing OxygenOS 12as a watered-down port of its parent company's OS, ColorOS 12. The backlash was so strong that the company gave up and promised it would return to form with OxygenOS 13; but for now, its new phones — like the OnePlus 10 Pro — rely on software very few people like. See more Considering Lau said only the 10 Pro exists, but leakers have strongly hinted at a 10 Ultra, it's possible he was also hiding the OnePlus 10's existence too. As for any hypothetical OnePlus 10 specs, we can only speculate based on what we know about the 10 Pro and last year's The flagship OnePlus 10 Pro Category OnePlus 10 Pro Operating system Android 12, OxygenOS 12.1 Display 6.7-inch 120Hz LTPO2 AMOLED Row 2 - Cell 0 3216x1440 (20:9) Row 3 - Cell 0 Gorilla Glass Victus Chipset Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, 1 x 3.0GHz Cortex X2 Row 5 - Cell 0 3 x 2.50GHz Cortex A710, 4 x 1.80GHz Cortex A510 Row 6 - Cell 0 Adreno 730, 4nm RAM 8GB/12GB Storage 128GB/256GB MicroSD slot ❌ Rear camera 1 48MP, f/1.8, 1.12um, PDAF, OIS, 8K at 30fps Row 11 - Cell 0 Hasselblad Natural Color Rear camera 2 50MP, f/2.2, 0.64um, wide-angle Row 13 - Cell 0 150-degree field-of-view, fisheye lens Rear camera 3 8MP, f/2.4, 1.0um, PDAF, OIS, 3.3x optical zoom Front camera 32MP, f/2.2, 1080p at 30fps, fixed-focus Connectivity 5G Sub-6, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, A-GPS Audio USB-C, AptX HD, stereo speakers Battery 5000mAh Charging ...

OnePlus 10 Pro Review: Almost There

If you made me choose from the current crop of quite as great as some of its peers. Before diving into the details, it's worth noting that the OnePlus 10 Pro is the only flagship offering from OnePlus this year. Usually, the company puts out a “non-Pro” variant that's a little cheaper, but the 10 Pro is flying solo (at least for now). That makes my job easier. But while the standard option has had trouble keeping up with the midrange competition, it does stink that you have one less phone to choose from at a time when the number of phone makers The Emerald Forest color. Photograph: OnePlus It's hard to find much fault with the hardware on the OnePlus 10 Pro. I have the Volcanic Black color, an apt name as it does somewhat resemble the glittery shine of lava rocks (it also comes in a pretty Emerald Forest). You kind of want it to have that rougher, sandstone-esque feel when you touch it, but instead, this glass back is slippery. Thankfully, it's no fingerprint magnet. Most phone makers seem to have settled on 6.7 inches as the preferred size for a flagship smartphone, and that's the case with the new OnePlus. It's … large! Sure, it's no is a tiny bit narrower and shorter than competitors like the The AMOLED screen is one of the highlights here. It's sharp, colorful, and gets very bright in sunny conditions (though it's been fairly cloudy of late in New York). There's a Speaking of which, I haven't had to think much about the battery. That's always a good thing. I never felt...

OnePlus 10T Review

One Cool Thing: OnePlus 10T Tried-and-True OnePlus Design At 6.42 by 2.99 by 0.34 inches (HWD) and 7.16 ounces, the OnePlus 10T isn't a particularly small or light phone, but it feels more compact than its dimensions indicate. For comparison, the iPhone 13 (5.8 by 2.8 by 0.3 inches, 6.1 ounces) is considerably smaller and lighter, though the Galaxy S22+ is comparable in size (6.2 by 3.0 by 0.3 inches, 6.9 ounces). Since 1982, PCMag has tested and rated thousands of products to help you make better buying decisions. (Opens in a new window) The phone is available in two colors: Jade Green or Moonstone Black. The Moonstone Black model (pictured in this review) notably features a slightly rougher back texture; it isn't quite as rough as the old OnePlus Sandstone material, but certainly reminiscent of it, and we like how well it resists fingerprints. Otherwise, the back closely resembles that of the OnePlus 10 Pro, with a smooth-framed camera bump that houses three lenses and a flash. The Moonstone Black model is reminiscent of the classic OnePlus Sandstone texture (Credit: Sascha Segan) A 6.7-inch, 2,412-by-1,080-pixel AMOLED panel defines the front of the phone and alternates between 120Hz, 90Hz, and 60Hz refresh rates. Using the WeTest PerfDog performance tool, we measured 90fps scrolling in Chrome, while games such as Alto's Odyssey and Genshin Impact ran at 60fps. We couldn't find an application that ran at 120Hz in testing, but that's likely a limitation of our toolset an...

OnePlus 10 Pro Review: A Great Android Phone With Some Problems

Like • Classy design • Powerful performance • All-day battery life • Vibrant screen Don't like • Slightly disappointing camera • Waterproof rating restricted to T-Mobile-exclusive models • No 80-watt fast charging in the US The OnePlus 10 Pro is without doubt the best phone the company has ever made. From its powerful processor and its beautiful display, to its solid camera and smart design, it ticks pretty much every box you should expect from a high-end flagship Android phone in 2022. And at $899 (£799, roughly AU$1,400), the phone is competitively priced against high-end rivals like the Galaxy S22 Ultra ($1,200) and iPhone 13 Pro ($999). It offers similar performance, 5G and a smooth, approachable interface. However, it's let down slightly by mediocre low-light camera performance, a lack of an official IP water resistance rating on most versions of the phone and a few omissions when it comes to the US models.
