After realizing the need to train students in Pharmaceutical Sciences. Before the establishment of the Poona College of Pharmacy, there were no Pharmacy colleges in this region, and thus the institute is a pioneer in this field. Earlier affiliated to the University of Pune, the college is now a constituent unit of Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University). Research @ BVDU World-changing research Poona College of Pharmacy thrives in research and related services due to the extraordinary productivity of its students and faculty. A research-oriented culture is encouraged right from the undergraduate level through project assignments as part of the curriculum. It was a great experience studying at Poona College of Pharmacy, a memory to cherish for lifetime. My experience at PCP was full of learning and grooming. The classroom has projectors and is decent and have charging points as well. There is only one canteen which is small and the foods are also not up to the mark.
