The Delhi High Court on Thursday allowed a plea by the mother of Mukul Arya, India’s Permanent Representative to Palestine, who was recently found dead inside the Indian mission in Ramallah. The petitioner sought a fresh post mortem on the body of her son. Justice Rajnish Bhatnagar permitted the autopsy to be carried out as per norms, and also directed it to video recorded. “Looking into the facts and circumstances of the case, and the submission of the standing counsel for respondent no.1, let the post mortem be video-graphed and the same be made part of the record,” the High Court ordered. During the hearing, the Centre said that the Ministry of External Affairs is facilitating the autopsy at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), as desired by the family. Kottayam, Oct 13 (PTI) The post-mortem of bodies of the two deceased women, which were exhumed on October 11, as part of an investigation into a gruesome human sacrifice case at Elanthoor in Pathanamthitta district, is likely to conclude on Thursday. The bodies of the deceased women will be handed over to the relatives only after a detailed post-mortem and DNA test, hospital sources said. Sources said the post-mortem in the two cases were complicated as the bodies have started decomposing. Police have asked the police surgeon to provide a detailed report on the number of injuries on the body and the details on all internal organs. The bodies, which were exhumed on October 11, were brought to Kottayam Medical College that night itself. The DNA test will be conducted at the laboratory in Thiruvananthapuram. The post-mortem report of Sakshi, victim of Delhi’s Shahbad Dairy murder case, has revealed that the 16-year-old girl’s internal organs, including the intestine, were left hanging out of her stomach after being brutally stabbed by her alleged boyfriend Sahil Khan. Sakshi was stabbed atleast 16 times by Sahil on 28 May. He also kicked her and bludgeoned her face with a stone. The 20-year-old then dumped the knife which he used to commit the grisly murder and left for Bulandshahr in Uttar Pradesh to avoid being caught. However, Sahil, who worked as a AC and fridge mechanic, was arrested from his aunt’s house in Bulandshahr hours after he stabbed Sakshi to death.
