Story: Pushpa Raj is a coolie who rises in the world of red sandalwood smuggling. Along the way, he doesn’t shy from making an enemy or two. The storyline shows the character of Pushpa Raj and his rise from menial labour to the top of sandalwood smuggling. Set in the Seshachalam forests located in the South-Eastern ghats of India, where this rare wood grows, it follows the hero as he overcomes various obstacles. The movie was released in Telugu and other dubbed versions in Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil and Hindi. Written and directed by Filmfare Award-winner Sukumar, who is also known for Telugu movies like Jagadam(2007), Arya 2(2009), and Nannaku Prematho(2016).
