Our present volume no. 7 covers the 7 th and the last Canto of ‘Ram Charit Manas’; it is called the ‘Uttar Kand’. The Book ‘Ram Charit Manas’ is a famous classical narration of the epic story of the Ramayana, a story that describes the life and time of Lord Ram, who was a human manifestation of the Supreme Being. It was written by Goswami Tulsidas, an illustrious poet, a blessed soul, and a great devotee of Lord Ram. The Book ‘Ram Charit Manas’ is divided into 7 Cantos, named Baal Kand, Ayodhya Kand, Aranya Kand, Kishkindha Kand, Sundar Kand, Lanka Kand, and Uttar Kand. In this English rendering of this Classical Book, the reader will have an opportunity to read the original Text, accompanied by its Roman Transliteration, which is followed by an exhaustive exposition in English, aided by analytical notes that explain the Text from different angles and perspectives. This present Canto no. 7, i.e. the ‘Uttar Kand’ of the Book “Ram Charit Manas”, can be divided into two distinct parts.
