The Ranji Trophy is a cricket tournament held in India. The competition will be in its 87th season in 2022. The Ranji Trophy is India's main first-class cricket competition. The event is divided into two stages, with the league stage taking place from February 17 to March 15, 2022, and the knockout stage taking place from May 30 to June 26, 2022. Saurashtra had already won the prestigious Ranji Trophy. The tournament's previous edition, the 2020-21 edition, was cancelled owing to the COVID-19 pandemic.
