However, since the snake was non-venomous, Khan was discharged on Sunday morning after which he was back at his farmhouse, right on time to celebrate his 56th birthday. Talking to the media in the early hours of Monday, the actor said the snake had entered one of the rooms of his Arpita farmhouse -- named after his sister -- and he had gone to rescue it when the incident happened. At the hospital, Salman Khan was given an anti-venom shot and was kept under observation for six hours. The farmhouse was decked in shades of pink and purple to celebrate the ‘Wanted’ star’s birthday and was covered by a canopy of fairy lights. Khan held his little niece, Ayat, on his lap as the duo cut a cake and the guests cheered. Riteish Deshmukh and his wife Genelia shared some fun videos from Khan’s birthday party on their Instagram Stories, and so did scriptwriter Mushtaq Shaikh.
