TS Sankranthi Holidays 2023 • Latest Update: Telangana TS CM KCR has declared Sankranthi holidays from 13th January to 17th January 2023. • Total number of holidays are 9 days (earlier it was 7 days). Announement is completely official and no changes in TS Govt decision. • Due to the Omrican Pandemic, the holidays are started 2 days before of actual leaves. • All Schools, Colleges, Universities are closed in this holiday duration. • The schools and colleges will open from 18.01.2023 onwards. • TS School and Colleges will open from 18th January 2023 onwards (unofficial), Sankranthi Holidays till 17th Jan 2023 only. • Government of Telangana already released TS Holidays 2023 List, we have uploaded in below for students and employee reference purpose. Telangana Sankranti 2023 Holidays: తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్రంలో బతుకమ్మ, దసరా తర్వాత రెండో పెద్ద పండుగ 'సంక్రాంతి'. ఈ సంక్రాంతి పండుగకు ప్రతి ఏడాది విద్యాసంస్థలకు సెలవులు ఉంటాయన్న విషయం తెలిసిందే. సంక్రాంతి 2023 సందర్భంగా తెలంగాణ విద్యార్థులకు గుడ్‌న్యూస్. స్కూళ్లకు 5 రోజులు సెలవులను తెలంగాణ ప్రభుత్వం ప్రకటించింది. ఈ సెలవులు జనవరి 13న ప్రారంభం అయి 17వ తేదీ వరకు కొనసాగుతాయి. తిరిగి 18న విద్యాసంస్థలు తెరుచుకుంటాయి. రాష్ట్రంలోని అన్ని రకాల పాఠశాలలకు ఈ సెలవులు వర్తిస్తాయని ప్రభుత్వం స్పష్టం చేసింది. తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్రంలోని అన్ని జూనియర్ కాలేజీలకు 2023 జనవరి 13 నుంచి సంక్రాంతి సెలవులు ప్రారంభం అవుతాయని ప్రభుత్వం ప్రకటించింది. అయితే స్కూళ్ల మాదిరిగా 5 రోజుల సెలవులు కాకూండా.. 3 రోజులు మాత్రమే ఉన్నాయి. జనవరి 16వ తేదీన కాలేజీలు తిరిగి ప్రారంభం అవుతాయి. ఈ సంక్రాంతికి స్కూళ్లకు వారం, కాలేజీలకు కనీసం ఐదు రోజులు సెలవులు ఉంటాయని విద్యార్థులు, ఉద్యోగులు భావించారు. ప్రభుత్వం తీసుకున్న నిర్ణయంతో అందరూ అసంతృప్తిగా ఉన్నారు. 2023 జనవరి 14న బోగి, 15న సంక్రాంతి మరియు 16న కనుమ పండుగ ఉన్నాయి. భోగి పండుగ రెండో శనివారం, సంక్రాంతి పండుగ ఆదివారం వచ్చాయి. దాంతో అదనంగా రెండు సెలవులు కోల్పోయారు. సంక్రాంతికి ప్రత్యేక సెలవులను కోల్పోయామనే భావన విద్యార్థులు, ఉద్యోగులలో ఉంది. మరో ఐదు రోజుల్లో తెలంగాణాలో 2023 సంక్రాంతి సెలవులు ఆరంభం కానున్నాయి.

In the notification issued by the chief secretary Somesh Kumar, it is mentioned that all offices under the state government shall remain closed on all Sundays and second Saturdays in all the months during the year 2023. State government employees can avail a maximum of five holidays among the list of optional holidays.
